World Book Day

To celebrate World Book Day and Ruby’s love of the written word, we launched a story writing competition in March 2021.

The competition was brilliantly supported by local primary schools in the Carse of Gowrie, including Inchture Primary School where Ruby attended until she passed away in January 2020.

We received over 200 entries for the competition!

We are really, really grateful to everyone who participated in the competition and made it such an incredibly difficult job to create a shortlist of the best entries!

We held a public vote to choose the winner. ‘The Earthquake of Equestria’ by Olivia Robertson came first. Olivia won some Be More Ruby goodies and her story was made into an audiobook by our good friend Kev Anderson and Kerr Mathieson from Audio Outsource. We are very grateful to both of them for donating their time and energy to create a brilliant audio story! We know that Olivia loves it!
